ReplyDeleteI am sure Chris was not expecting to learn table manners when he moved in with Auntie, but a lady must know these things, he can then have a lovely afternoon tea with her.
It must have been really embarrassing for him, having to go to the shops for lady hygiene products & without his loving aunt to accompany him.

It would seem that Chris is now old enough to have a glass of wine and dream of a pint. A moment on the lips, straight to the hips? Interesting outfits, all. I especially like his hair in the first. Neat, but not too. He does look sweet and innocent for his shopping errands. I hope it is not too far, or the groceries too bulky. Perhaps he will run into someone to help him.

ReplyDelete#1, Really delighted he is learning ladylike table manners though go easy on the blackcurrant Juice, deary though I am sure Chris knows how to politely excuse from the table. I love how a simple dress can look very elegant. Must be the wearer.
#2, And rightly so, the old PJs are oh so boring, The new nighty and acessorios look a million times better, cute and comfy too I bet.
#3, Yes dear. A first outing is a such a thrill. I think you got everything for now except something to keep your look fresh - makeup compact and lippy?
#4, A pint in the afternoon. That will never do. Maybe later one of the boys will take Chris down for a G&T with a twist of lemmon.

I especially enjoy panel # 2 because of the simplicity of Chris's dress, which is unequivocally a perfect hem length for sending him out on an errand. He definitely presents as vulnerable and I am sure he is exceeding self-conscious too. I appreciate that Chris is color coordinated, which is an absolute must.

I can't imagine why Chris would be worried about having to buy tampons and panty liners. Nobody who sees him is going to bat an eyelash. Now if he were buying condoms, well, that would result in some unwanted attention...

Regarding the PJs, I'm sure Chris will come to realize that one must always be prepared to be presentable, and with a gorgeous hairdo like he's got, his clothing, regardless of time of day, must be complimentary.
