I will be away from our blog next week,I am having some time with dear friends, friends I have not seen since this virus thing took hold over 2 years ago and I think it might be emotional.

Chris's means of avoiding juvenile detention bears a lot of similarities to Peter's predicament in "In My Younger and More Vulnerable Days".

Like Chris, it takes quite a while for Peter not to be a Reluctant princess.
Hi Skinnie, Thanks. I'll be checking it out.

It is too bad he did not look into what the detention entails. We all know how much things can change in one year, let alone two. Good thing he started with a make-over. Into the deep end from the start. The crying has subsided since he does not want to mess his mascara. Difficult to reapply in a moving vehicle. Nearing the end, he must appreciate the complexity of that gown. . . and what will happen if he fails in his job and reflects poorly on the Reluctant Princess and Mademoiselle.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful vacation.
Hi Lee, Chris knows that if he fails in his job, then life will be even more exciting.

Hi Andy & Christeen.
ReplyDeleteAfter spending the day on top of a pedestal & shaving his legs, I wonder if Chris is thinking that being dressed as a girl for two years is better than Juvi?
Hope everyone is well. Hugs xxx
Hi Mandy, Of course it would.

For a troubled boy whose never had much reason to be proud of himself, how do you think he feels when he starts to realize that, hey, he's actually really talented at looking pretty, and feels... good... about it...?
ReplyDeleteWe all know how Chris feels; as well as our viewers. Thanks

In regards to the last panel, I did a comic like that with a prisoner facing twenty years in prison verses 10 years as a transformed concubine. It fared well in sales so I did a sequel.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen it Shadoman, but it sounds intriguing.

Why would anyone think boys don't shave their legs? Of course they do, it feels SO much better!
ReplyDeleteHi Kitka, I wish I could get away with it.

I assume Chris was mischevious but as Christeen, she's an elegant and well behaved lady. Christeen is lovely in her dresses also.
ReplyDeleteHi Jake, Chris can certainly become an elegant lady. BTW, Christeen is the name of the artist (me).
DeleteYayyyyyyy four gorgeous pieces. Thank-you both. xx
ReplyDelete#1, Nice job and think of all the admiring glances you'll get. The owner may have a little bonus for you in the evening, mademoiselle permitting of course.
#2, He's about to find out how lovely it is tho I know he won't admit it ;)
#3, Very cute, and just the right kind of fancy car to draw in the attention. Gulp.
#4, The fun part is he can't see the image the two ladies are thinking. I imagine it was a difficult admission for him at first, but yes the smart choice.
Thanks again Aidan.
