The Monday delights
of a new piece
from our dear
friend Christeen
Hi Everyone
Hope you are all well. Nothing much to report here apart from it being yet another mad week, so I once again apologise to those I have left hanging on the line when it comes to emails and messages and things.
So what do we have today, well we have the completed art from a piece previewed a few weeks ago on Patreon. This is the one inspired by Amanda Holdens stunning Latex dress from the other month. I just had to get Andy into it somehow and then it came to me......Well I'll give nothing more away, except to say this is a glimpse of the future, not as far forward as the Christmas image, but well I'll let you find out right now.
I called this piece (because they all have names) The Boy From Brighton.
Hope you like this

ReplyDeletePoor Andy! He may have gone blonde for the première (of "Boy? - The Movie", no doubt), but Will wonders whether he's taken on some of the classic tropes for the evening. It must be all so scary with the flash of the bulbs, the click of the shutters, the whirr of the motor-drives, and the shouting of the paps for attention to get that crucial glance in their direction. Surely he expected all the attention, especially when he decided to wear 'that dress'. The tremble in Andy's hand says otherwise; he's holding on to Will for dear life.
DeleteThough if Will but knew, some of the focus is on him, at least from the columnists. Who is this handsome guy with the country's favourite new starlet (step aside Anya Taylor-Joy; move along Yasmin Finney) on his arm. The gossip pages of the red tops, and even some covers, will be full of pictures of them together, with lots of speculation about his identity. That ring on Andy's finger is going to grab a lot of column inches.
Tomorrow morning he'll find some of the paps camped outside his front door waiting for a glimpse. Well he would if he were staying there. Fortunately, the film's publicist has booked them into a swanky bijou hotel where they can bolt after the première and its champagne reception. Will will appreciate the convenient rear entrance so that eveything can be kept discrete.
Going back to Brighton will be different though. Maybe they're both going to have to stay for a while with Lady Jane where they'll be safe within the secure grounds of Fullerton Hall?
Great work, and a fitting accompaniment and tribute to a great dress.
Hope all well.

Yes the Paps will be after Will now, so much to uncover, but they will find no scandal there, not from our sweet loyal loving William.
DeleteLove your extension of the the story, you have such imagination

Hi Andy, I hope you are well and not too stressed.
ReplyDeleteA lovely gown, it's a shame that Andy is no longer able to enjoy an evening out without being recognised. But what happened to his red hair?
However, I do wonder if he misses the football boots.
Take care. Hugs xxx
Hi Mandy, all well thank you.
DeleteThe hair was the idea of the stylist, I like it it changes the way he is perceived but he will always be a red head for Will.
I am sure he dreams of those boots even now.
XX
Is he trying to go incognito by going blonde? Photos of the pair will be everywhere by breakfast. Their quiet life and discrete rendezvous may be over. Such a shame for the loving pair.
ReplyDeleteThe stylist suggested it Lee and Andy went along with it, perhaps it is a form of disguise, not that he can hide away in that dress XX
DeleteWow, a glistening superstar. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Aidan, yes he does look sensational doesn't he XX
Deletean amazing pic Andy looks gorgeous in his yellow dress and the blonde hair is a very nice touch. Kudos to his stylist
ReplyDeleteHello my Anon friend, yes I think the stylist got it spot on too XXX
DeleteThe stylist was right: it takes blonde hair to do justice to the dress. Any other hair color would clash with it. I would have gone one further: I would have added a palm-sized yellow flower, as close to the yellow of the dress, over the ear.
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvain, yes you are right, the stylist was correct with the change of hair colour, the blonde is perfect for the dress and I love your idea for those hair adornments. XXX
