Hi Everyone
Sorry I am being a bit cheeky today and pushing in another of my own pieces of art. The thing is I have a bit of a collection building up as a result of this lock-in and am a little worried some might get lost or missed. Also it will allow me time to create a little piece of art to accompany the next Chapter of Hello!
So today we have a classic tale from our original timeline and one which I hope will satisfy a few requests I have recently noted in our comments. (see i do take notice, I just have to wait for my imagination to catch up, or slow down).
I will say, it finds our Hero/Heroine during his American adventure. However we find him separated from Jane and the guest of the glamorous socialite and Californian landowner Grace Hart.
Details are sketchy as to the backstory, but lets face it I am setting that up for you to flesh out in your wonderful ways.

Wow.....Andy the dress is amazing I love the Victorian style, from the high neck with lace around the collar to the petticoats underneath the apron tied on perfectly to the head piece arranged so properly. The dress is wonderful and I love Ms. Harts outfit also I love how you gave her a bow but an almost sneer on her face that counters the cuteness of having a bow in her hair and her boots are amazing. Though I don’t think Andrew is much appreciating it. He should have listened to his Aunt and not taken Ms Hart up on her offer to visit her home and see her vineyards. His Aunt had told him to be careful and not be taken in by her charms for she could be very cruel to those who did not obey her every word, but he just couldn’t believe that someone of her elegance and poise could be all that bad and was sure his aunt had to be wrong. So when the chance to see a real vineyard was offered he just couldn’t say no. His aunt tried to give him a way out by saying she had a meeting she had to go that would take her out of town for few days and that she didn’t want to leave him by himself. She did everything she could to try to keep Andy from his rash decision but he had been taken in by Ms Harts charm. So now a day later and everything had changed... gone was that charm and sweet demeanor now she would have an almost sneer on her face anytime she looked at him and he was punished for the smallest of faults. So now since he had asked her assistant if he could get some water because he had been cleaning all the outside windows wearing a heavy Victorian maids dress made entirely of latex For hrs she was punishing him for complaining. He had tried to tell her he wasn’t complaining but she wasn’t listening and seeing the almost smirk on her assistants face he could only imagine what she had said. Then when he heard his punishment all he could do was hope his aunt would be early to pick him up. This will definitely teach him to listen to his Aunt when she gives him a warning.

DeleteI think that about sums it up. What a super narrative you have weaved around this piece, a beautifully written little tale, adding so much fun and detail to my art. You capture the feel and the atmosphere to perfection.
So glad the Victorian uniform has gone down well, it is a tricky style to get right, the light and depth are an issue, but I think I got it.
Ms Hart is classic old school American glamour, with movie star looks and I added the bow because I love them in elegant hair, again an old time glamour look, though the Latex riding mistress look would have been a madness back in the 40s or 50s.
I added the little smirk late in the day. I just thought it added character to Ms Harts assistant. A trait you enhanced wonderfully.

I do like spinning a tale though in this case it’s all your art. I have said it before but your art tells a story that writes itself. From the smirk on the assistants face that shows Her dislike of Andrew. To the sneer on Ms Harts face that shows her jealousy of Andrews natural beauty which brings out her cruelty even more. She has learned over the years how to fool people with a smile and carefully placed compliments. It’s your art that brings me such excitement and wonderland fills my head with so many what if’s. So instead thank You for the story in the picture.

It is a pleasure to see Andrew decked out in Victorian finery. Even if it is Latex and sweltering under it all. Not many places to vent so it is no wonder he is complaining. Too bad he is overheard. He might even think he has garnered a reprieve, but it a short time he is to be stripped, bathed, powdered and oiled(?). Then placed on display in a vac bed for all to see in the afternoon California sun.

Yep he should have kept his grumbles to himself, but now he is going to find out what it is to sweat.

There are no words to thank you for this art. You know more than anyone how much I am in love with Victorian dress pieces. It is incredibly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAmanda has an air of innocence and vulnerability that together with Ms Hart's dominant and imposing stance fills the space. Amanda reminds me of a princess and Ms Hart a housekeeper who is responsible for education.
DeleteWhat most captivates my attention is Ms Hart because she is like the director of a school of good manners, which values discipline and the expression of femininity.

DeleteThe idea for both Ms Hart's name and her outfit, comes from an old tv show i have just found called Hart to Hart, in which the lead female character wore some beautiful outfits, and this one, though with a skirt, really stuck in my mind.

DeleteSince you are in the mood for Victorian dresses it would be lovely to also see a model in red and a model in pink. The background of the story can be a bazaar where Amanda is donating her old men's clothes and her old friends peeking out to find out who the beautiful lady is in that beautiful latex dress.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful artwork as always. Ms Hart (presumably a influential member of the American branch of the Order of Latexia) is clearly a severe taskmistress. Her riding outfit is splendid, the boots in particular must have taken a great deal of shining up to satisfy her. It is a shame that she has had her spurs removed by a minion already, I would like to have seen them but she does still have her gloves and riding crop. I would imagine that a crop or whip will be an accessory for virtually every outfit she wears. Andy is looking very sweet in his Victorian maid's outfit and the corset and petticoats underneath will be making him even hotter. His upcoming punishment is indeed very severe and will make him for waiting upon his Aunt and her guests while dressed in a skimpy off-the-shoulder maid's dress (in his favourite pink) with a breeze cooling his upper thighs as the tiny skirt is lifted.

You are right about Ms Harts status and the permanent crop.she is very much one of the high council and therefore her punishments will not be questioned and that is also why her staff are so loyal to her.
