 Hi Everyone
   Hope everyone is ok XXX
It is Friday (not that that means much at the moment) and we all have a weekend to look forward to and what better way to welcome it in than spending a few minutes with the delightful art of the brilliant Christeen.
Thank you Christeen for you constant support and wonderful art.
Big Hugs

Have to say, I love this one, because I love the Arabic style, so exotic.

  1. Oh my! What did he do to elicit such anger and soon-to-be punishment?
In #4 the look on his face tells it all. Once again getting caught pushing back on his boundaries. it must be more than sitting with his legs apart. The make-up is perfect? The outfit is current and matches. Could it be his varnish is not the came color as his lips? Sure, why not.
Soon to be send to be redone as in #2 and close enough that any passing man would be an instant admirer. A little softer in whites and sissy pinks.
Then decked out in #1 to be set loose in a park far from home. In need of assistance from a strong, handsome man. Explaining the gown, practice for the Debutante Ball? "Her" sisters whim? a lost bet?
His hopes and dreams for a Knight to sweep him away to safety.

    1. Hi Lee, Chris often forgets to act feminine, so there are a number of reasons for his chair time. He's no stranger to being taken on walks in parks and his neighborhood. Auntie usually keeps him in gowns, so street dress, as in #4 is unusual.

    2. With the look on his face and the way he is grabbing the chair. I imagine
they gave him a bottle of water to hydrate, then turned the chair to see the door to the toilet.
      So close, yet so far.
Concentrate, make-up, demure, twirl... oops ...waterfalls, rainfall on the windowsills, thunder

    1. Right PS. He's no stranger to photo shoots as one can tell with all of his wall art portraits. Julia knows that he's ready for restaurants, but I don't think Chris does.

    2. what's the story behind Chris? How did he become that adorable being he is today?

    3. There is no coherent story. There are several scenarios: petticoated good girl with Aunt Julia, Reluctant Princess Salon victim, and the 3 Mademoiselle levels. A random photo I happen to see determines what happens to Chris without any obligation to chronology.

  4. Andy, May our support for each other continue, at least until Chris gets crows feet and jowls -(ain't gonna happen).

  5. Oh wow Chris is very pretty in 1, how will he ever get up and move in such a fine flowing gown, those chivalrous boys will have to come to his rescue, Chris is well trained now to act all demure after he his gently reminded by his charge.
In 2 oh gosh that’s tough knowing his old friend will see him in a dress, though his friend will surely be smitten if it is as lovely as we have come to know and has to be with the pretty makeup.
For 3 definitely a pretty Chris is perfect for international bridal fashion even though he is pouting, a gorgeous Arabian dress.
4, Chris is still a boy and of course has his mischievous moments, so chair time it is, but he’s still pretty and the dress even though plain is very cute.
A fun Friday, yes indeed and always welcome especially in these hard times.

    1. Hope I've added to your fun Aidan. Chris is well trained but still seems to have a long learning curve.

  6. Hello Christeen, It's so easy to see why you love the Arabic picture so much, it's so haunting with the lower light & he just looks almost at ease while being adorned in such finery.
He really should learn that it is no good to hide behind a tree while escorting one of his aunts' around the park, if only he could find that extra bit of confidence his friends would never notice & he would no longer be sent to the naughty chair.

Thanks for such beautiful art Chris. Hugs Mandy xxx

  8. Auntie was perhaps more forgiving than usual in #1. It was just supposed to be a pleasant walkabout, that they ran into some boys was a chance encounter that she forgave Chris a bit for not being in the proper state of mind. After making demands that he do better next time, she moved on.

But #4 was entirely different, this was a formal gathering at the house whose soul purpose was to introduce Chris to Charles. And in such an intentional setting, there was simply no excuse for Chris's cold and uncooperative attitude.

The chair time out was just the beginning, a place to put him while Auntie figured out would be in store for him. Chris knew he had it coming to him. His rebellion had been obvious, but was more confused about why he was really acting that way. What was it about the way boys looked at him now, totally differently than they had before, that stirred in him such volatile and unpredictable emotions?

  9. Hi Kim, Yes,there certainly is a conflict going on, both with himself and with his Auntie. Both unresolved ... a reason for my pics to continue.
