New Art. Jewel Of The Nile

Hi Everyone
Well it looks like it all works. Thanks to windows 7 ending support I have just switched computers and am now using my big HD screen to create on. I know I could still use my old laptop but now I see the image on this baby, there ain't no going back. All I need to do is avoid mixing up my work designs with my other stuff.
Ok new art. Well we as ever now I think I will save any chat for after the image, so as not to spoil any surprise.
What I will say this is set well into Andy's story, our sweet hero is in demand, but now it seems he has made a new "Enemy".
 Hope you like this.

Andy

So we have poor Andy separated from his beloved Aunt, so far away she is described as being, leaving Andy at the mercy of this new exotic mistress, who clearly has plans to wrap our little hero/Heroine up and place him in her collection.
I am really happy with the shine of Andy's dress and the sparkle of all the diamonds and jewels on display and seeing it now in HD the colours are just perfect.
Enough from me, I am sure you will fill in any blanks with your wonderful imaginations.

  1. Oh wow yes HD colors, fantastic. Not only are those jewels very sparkly but the deep gloss of Andy’s mermaid dress is gorgeous, really compliments his perfect figure. A great pity Aunty can’t be there to save him from being locked in the display case.

    1. Thank you Aidan, just love the pop of those jewels, they really do compliment his dress.
Fear not I am sure Aunt Jane is on her way.

  2. Oh dear, poor Andy looks so wet & delicious dressed like that, and so lost without the guidance of the lovely Lady Jane.
Is it me or does Andy also look several years older than normal (appears to have almost aged fifteen years)?
And will Jane be dashing to his aid? Mmm! Kinda sounds like one of those 1930's detective movies...now there would be a good story line for these two.
Lovely art as always Andy, hope you're doing OK, big hug, Mandy, xxx

    1. Hi Mandy, and YAYYYYYY, I was imagining those old movies, with the helpless heroine, when I was making this, I even think I was working late and The Mummies Shroud was on the tv, so happy when others connect with my thoughts.
Not so sure about Andy aging that much, but maybe a few years, he has after all traveled a long way in his story and a more mature make up.
      Bless you Mandy

  3. Oh dear. What a pickle. Have we ever seen Andy more bejeweled? This is what comes of Aunt Jane having Lara Croft adventures and letting Andy wear the spoils while she's away. There's clearly a price that needs to be paid.
It will be hard to Andy to escape once our slinky heroine has been greased and mummified in latex bandages, and locked in an ancient sarcophagus. He'll also be impossible to find when he's placed amongst the other relics in the shipping container returning the touring Land of The Pharoahs exhibition to its home museum.
But is the lady really his 'Enemy'? Maybe she wants a new Mummy to play with or an exciting gift for a handsome Sheik? Or is this part of a deeper plot to ensnare Lady Fullerton-Jones as tries another daring tomb raid to rescue her sweet feminised catamite.
We'll have to see. Be sure to tune in to next week's (?) thrilling episode of 'Lady Jane: Sissy Raider'
Love the new art. Your S xxxx

    1. Oh my S, you have it so right, you even have the fate I had imagined for poor little Andy.
We can all see Aunt Jane racing to the museum at the wheel of a 30s roadster, desperate to rescue her nephew from a despicable fate. It is a two fisted adventure and I can’t wait to see the next episode.
Thank you my dear friend and I will, give Sheila your love when in see her on Friday.

  4. Almost like one of the Mummy movies...is Andy about to become the enthralled lover of Madame Gal, who is actually the reincarnation of an Egyptian queen? Is that drink really a potion to put her in trance?

Yes perhaps not a sleeping potion, but something to make him more compliant, her willing slave or victim. Love the idea of her being a reincarnated Queen.
      Thank you so much Dani

  5. Hmmmm. very mysterious.. is it not cool to see how just picture and Just the right narrative, can make viewers ask for "More"
Love the outfit.. Looks like Any has developed a little in the chest department.. Great work..

A new computer and operating system can bring new delight and perspective to what one can do.. But believe it or not I still have one PC running on windows XP so I can do my post work to fix flaws and adjust lighting.. so important in 3D rendering

    1. Thank you Shao, that is a compliment indeed. I really like to cut the information to it’s core, so as to give the viewer free reign to continue it.
I too have an old XP runner, like yours it does a specific job, like no other machine can.

  6. Your improvements are immediately noticeable in your art. The reflections in the floor and the shadows of the molding, but most impressive is the jewelry. It seems all who comment have picked up on the new and improved complexities.
I have to agree with the film noir aspect of the dialog, but I loved the minimalist background. You have put in a lot of work and obviously given it a lot of thought, but the tale is told with few walls, corridors and hangings.
I hope Lady Jane is not too far away. The assistant in the background looks Sisterhood-ish. perhaps this Lady sits at the High Table with other shadowy figures . Andy is already half wrapped in his alluring dress. Ready for shipment, or a display model? Will he go from episode to episode ending in in a cliffhanger as Aunt Jane or William save the day and our heroine? With beauty there is pain.

    1. Hi Lee
Bless you you are so kind. I am so happy these keep ticking boxes and bless you for your compliments about my improvements. Part of it is new techniques on my part and background assistance from a forum group to which I belong.
Keep it simple, I think that is best, when the characters are the story, but the noir, classic movie look was exactly what I was thinking, a glamorous exotic feel, with our Andy as the damsel in distress.
I think you are right about the assistant in the back, she looks very obedient to Madam Gal.
I do like your cliffhanger idea, there could be a whole new universe there to explore.
      Biggest hugs Lee

    2. Oh my, have I brought a smile to your lips? I hope that your tea is not getting as cold as my coffee.
I was looking over the art again, and was wondering, his nail varnish and lipstick is a vibrant shade of pink-ish purple. At least to me. I am sure his toes match, but was wondering if it is a favorite colour of yours? It does not match his accessories, but he is decked out in a black dress and sparkles.
It would almost be a shame when it comes to wrapping him. The drink should make him very compliant.
Wishing you a wonderful, and early Valentine's day.

    3. Ah yes I do love that colour and although it is not a repeated colour, it does fit the palette. I use a gamma correction to create these new colours, you never know hat shade will appear. Such a nice addition to my tools.
I think he will welcome that potion. Just a little light headedness to ease his fears.
      off tomorrow afternoon
      Back soon

  7. Hi Andy,
    i love this mysterious setting.
I also noticed the delicate red/yellow color difference in Madam Gals dress and the complex temple-like architecture. Fantastic!
I'm wondering who the guests in the preparation room are. What's a preparation room anyway? And more importantly, what are the guests wearing? ;-)

Yes all the colours are chosen so as not to clash or over power.
I imagine rich investors in Madam Gal and her plans, the preparation room, would be where Andy is laid out in preparation for his living mummification ,the ancient fate of which Madam Gal speaks. As for the guests....your imagination can tell you

  8. Pretty costume for Carnival Parade as a Egyptian princess. Flashing and shimmering.
What will that elixir do into Andy's brain and body?.
Maybe our hero become a pharaon's slave!!

  10. Beautiful as always...I’m constantly amazed at how your art can tell a thousand different stories, and just when you think you have read them all someone else makes a comment that makes you go back and look at it and see it in a completely different way....truly wonderful... So what is going to happen to our heroine? Why is Andy all alone and what happened to Aunt Jane? Who are the guests and what is the preparation room? Will anyone come to save our heroine before Madam has him become a live latex mummy. Or will he be buried with the other queens of Egypt and lost to the sands of time......(so many questions)
Thanks for sharing your art with us
    All my best

Thank you for your compliments regarding my story telling, we both love words and it is fun to tell stories like this.

Wonderful art as always. I don't know about Andy looking older (although this must be after his trip to the U.S.) but he is very sophisticated here. That fabulous gown (which appears to be backless) and be-jewelled to the hilt! I cannot believe that Aunt Jane is so far away that she cannot rescue her beautiful nephew.

    Love and XXXX
