Time for new art and as promised here is the second of the two mentioned in our poll, one which I hope was worth the extra wait.
We return Andy to one of his cute little uniforms. However this time his simple domestic life has been compromised by the tiniest member of the household.
It requires zero explanation, it is all in the art, so I shall just give a few more thoughts after the image so as not to give too much away.

This started life as Jane simply returning home to find her beloved Nephew, all flustered and sticky chasing Fifi round the kitchen, pots and pans and plates and cups strewn everywhere by the action,but I thought that contained Andy's embarrassment to just he and his Aunt.
So I imagined Andy, knees trembling, having to unwillingly chase the naughty Doggie outside in a desperate bid to regain the remote to his little hummingbird, before the vibrations made even the slightest movement to much to bare.
All I can say is thank heavens for kind old Miss Kovick.

Poor Andy. And isn't Fifi a naughty doggie? She has the prettiness and poise of her Mistress (would Aunt Jane have trained to her any other way?) but also acquired some of her haughtiness. She will have noticed how Aunt Jane has trained her sissy maid and will only think she's doing what Mistress wants.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Miss Kovick. She was a kind old lady but these modern phones were so confusing. She managed to call some of the delivery boys in her Favourites before she got to Aunt Jane. They hadn't seem to want to help but had preferred to watch and kept saying stuff about how many hits they were getting on YouTube.
And that mobile in Jane's hand. Surely she hasn't been holding it since Miss Kovick's call and while driving? Given how she likes her maid to wear his Hush during the day so she can give him little reminders and prompts as well as letting him know that she's on her way home from the office, you wonder how much she's now in control rather than Fifi?
Lovely artwork as ever - and reminiscent for both of us of certain remote control happenings ;-)

Now that is naughty S, to suggest Aunt Jane is behind it all and there was I thinking it was that naughty Fifi.
DeleteYou could be right about dear Miss Kovick she can be a little vague without her specs and to be honest and despite having a soft spot for the pretty thing over the road, she has no idea if it be Boy or Girl.

I really don't know who is more naughty Fifi or the boy at back for taking photos of poor Andy instead of helping the poor boy...maybe the Miss Kovick (the lady watching by the door could helped, maybe not. Jane looks more distressed at being called back than the fun Andy is receiving.💋

It would seem that Andy is in the deep end now. Lady Jane called, and not too happy at the prospect. Fortunately she has the old biddy across the street to keep an eye on the place.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought Lady Jane would have had a larger lawn to have the house back from prying eyes. Perhaps a row of hedges or two?
Maybe she is angered that someone is parked blocking her carport? It does not look like the Porsche. Minivan, I think. Is that what she took from work to run home?
I would have thought she had an app to override the pod. If she wanted to.
. . . and what is this? Neither ring nor anklet? Is Andrew free range again? What has he done to deserve that?
Hi Lee, maybe the car and house are just a rentals, just guessing by all the boxes, but I have no doubt this is the rear of the property and the front aspect is wider and far more in keeping of Janes status.
DeleteYou are right about the over-ride for the hummmingbird, but I imagine Miss Kovick gave no details other than Andy was looking distressed outside the property.

Just as well you didn't do the joke about Jane's annoyance about someone blocking her entrance. At least it was only her front passage. So that's all good then.😀😁

Ha hah... Animals can be devious. I used to install home theater systems. and one time while I was setting up a system the clients dog who was notorious for chewing up remotes grabbed the new system controller and I was asked to retrieve it, Found the dog under the bed with numerous treasures including the remote and his mistress's vibrator.. I grabbed the controller and got back to setting up the system keeping the controller in my back pocket till I was ready to leave and warned the women that the controller was very expensive and to keep it in a drawer and not on the coffee table.

Lovely work thanks for sharing with us. I'd still like to see Andy in a black petticoat dress, pink gloves, white apron serving lemonade on a day with a very bright sun for Jane and her friends. One of them being a principal of a school of manners and sissification. Jane undoubtedly takes advantage of the situation and suggests thinking of sending her beloved niece to spend a few weeks in this school. How wonderful would that be?

What is the pattern of choice of dresses? When to wear the black uniform and when to wear pink?
ReplyDeleteWell Black must always be worn for formal events, whilst Pink is usually for a Maids personal duties whilst attending her mistresses needs. But those are pure guidelines and James was never one for rules

In addition to his duties as a servant, what other activities does Andy do to abandon his masculine side? Embroidery, Gymnastics, Voice Modulation, Attending meetings with Aunt Jane?
ReplyDeleteYou are right PS Andy needs other training, mostly these are in Fashion and personal beauty. Being young he needs no physical training though there is a definite attention to deportment and posture.
